Presented with the assistance of KBK The opera is brought to you by Ireland’s critically acclaimed Opera Theatre Company, the rock is provided by the stunning setting that is Ballykeefe Quarry, and it promises to be a match made in heaven. Bring a picnic and sunblock, and while away a languid afternoon in the company of four of Ireland’s most talented young opera singers in this spectacular location.

Sopranos Mairead Buickeand Anna Devin, tenor Daryl Simpson and mezzo-soprano Carolyn Dobbin are all members of Opera Theatre Company’s Young Artists Programme, and are joined here by leading Irish pianist Deborah Kelleher. From Mozart to Gershwin, expect themes of passion, jealousy, loyalty and love lost, packed into an afternoon of beautiful music, performed without amplification, like the natural amphitheatres of old. When it comes to venue design, mother nature knows best!
