Archie Bronson Outfit Rock Set Theatre
Archie Bronson Outfit hit Set Theatre hard and loud last night as part of our Wired strand.
The acclaimed British rock combo absolutely blasted eardrums with a relentless 90 minute long set that had people on their feet dancing the rainy night blues away. You can certainly see where they earn their plaudits as a live act and there wasn’t anyone in the theatre who wasn’t completely enraptured by the band.
The set drew from material from their albums Fur, Derdang Derdang and Coconut with a smattering of newer tunes thrown in for good measure. They never let up once and it was hard to tell what songs people really popped for such was the perpetually glued eyes and dancing shoes, although Dart For My Sweetheart and Got To Get were definitely hot favourites.
A hot gig on a wet night. No better way to close an amazing opening weekend of the festival!
