Here's a quick look at what's coming up over the course of today, our second last day of the 2011 festival. Events already kicked off this morning at 11am as Eoin Colfer's Holy Mary continues at the Watergate Theatre as part of our children's strand.

Luka Bloom and Friends

Body Duet

Location: Watergate Theatre, Parliament Street

John Scott’s Irish Modern Dance Theatre presents an energy-packed performance featuring two outstanding dancers.

Gemma Hayes with Ann Scott

Location: St. John's Priory, John Street
Time: 4pm
Price: €18/€16

Tipperary’s Gemma Hayes's eclectic blend of folk, prog rock and electronica has been winning over audiences at home and abroad.

Francisco Goldman

Location: The Parade Tower at Kilkenny Castle
Time: 2pm
Price: €13/€11

The acclaimed American writer reads from Say Her Name, his most personal and moving work to date.

Kilkenny Arts Festival Choir

Location: St. Canice's Cathedral
Time: 8.15pm
Price: €28/€23

A 100-strong choir joins forces with leading singers and performers for a rousing finale in St Canice's. This is the second year running for the festival choir and is bound to be one of the biggest highlights of the festival.

Paul Muldoon & Michael Longley

Location: St. Canice's Catherdral.
Time: 6pm
Price: €13/11

A rare chance to hear these two great Northern Irish poets as they share the stage at St Canice's. This will be a memorable night.

Don't forget you can explore our visual arts and crafts strands in various venues around the city. Our theatre strand too continues at full throttle with performances of Corcadorca's Request Programme, Una McKevitt's The Big Deal and Gare St. Lazare Players Title & Deed, the latter two shows both featuring post-show discussions hosted by our theatre and dance curator, Tom Creed.
