Matthias Loibner, often referred to as 'the Jimi Hendrix of the hurdy-gurdy' played a sold out lunchtime performance at The Hole In The Wall yesterday. We couldn't tell you the last time a hurdy-gurdy was seen or heard playing in Kilkenny but we're hoping it's not the last after what can only be described as a spellbinding performance that often sounded like there were ten people on the stage instead of just the one.
