Change to originally announced programme

Renowned pianist Alexander Gavrylyuk has, regretfully, had to pull out of his Kilkenny performance at St Canice’s Cathedral on 10 August, due to ill health. The team at Kilkenny Arts Festival wish him a speedy recovery.  

Today, Tuesday 30th July, Festival Director Olga Barry announced that acclaimed pianist Barry Douglas is being added to the programme and will perform at St Canice’s Cathedral, Kilkenny on Saturday 10 August at 7.30pm. The programme will be:

Beethoven: Piano Sonata No.23 in F minor “Appassionata”
Rachmaninov: Moments Musicaux op.16
Mussorgsky: Pictures at an Exhibition
