Since 2014, Martin Hayes has been the co-curator of the Marble City Sessions at Kilkenny Arts Festival. Bringing artists together from all over the world, to converge here in Kilkenny with time to meet, dream and collaborate. Martin’s exquisite and unmistakeable sound has also shaped many of these collaborations over the years and artists from the US to Mongolia have taken part in the series. One of our favourite moments each year is when Martin arrives over the first weekend, and usually kicks off the second week at a Secret Garden. In the unique year, Martin had recorded a special Secret Music instalment for us to share with you from his home in Madrid.
