Since its debut at the Festival in 1999, Camerata Kilkenny has performed all over the world, working with leading international singers and musicians like tenor John Elwes, soprano Julia Doyle and violinist Bojan Čičić. This year, the acclaimed ensemble returns to the Festival for the first time since 2016 to present a pair of lunchtime concerts in St John’s. Joined by leading soprano Zoë Brookshaw, the ensemble performs a range of songs and sonatas from the great baroque composers. This first concert features Purcell and Bach.
