In the first of four concerts at this year’s Festival, Finghin Collins - widely acclaimed as the leading Irish pianist of his generation - plays some of Brahms’ finest piano works from his later years.

The intense and passionate Rhapsodies are paired with his deeply moving last works for solo piano, the Pieces (Op 118 & 119) which he composed for Clara Schumann in her twilight years.
