The first of two light shows at this year’s Festival is a multi-sensory spectacular taking place inside St Canice’s Cathedral. The brainchild of Eat My Noise (a collaboration between composers David Duffy and Peter Power), fLux mixes projections, live organ playing from John O’Brien, video design by David Mathúna, church bells, voice, live electronics and tape in a breathtaking immersive experience inspired by structural loops, fractals and the Golden Ratio. The result is a feast for the senses that leaves audiences reeling.

fLux was originally commissioned and presented by Cork Film Festival in 2016, supported by the Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and Cork City Council.
