Master organist Malcolm Proud returns to the Festival to perform Brahms’ very last work, the Eleven Chorale Preludes.

Written in the summer of 1896 only m.onths before his demise, these works bring the composer's astonishing career to a close as he draws on the great Lutheran melodies to express his deepest emotions.

NB: As this is an organ concert, please note the venue is St Canice's Cathedral, rather than St John's Priory as for all other concerts in the Brahms series.
