Blending finesse with virtuosity, Mari Samuelsen is one of the most exciting violinists working today. Her fearless approach to repertoire has seen her perform everything from new work by Max Richter to Beyoncé’s ‘Halo’, attracting a young audience along the way. We’re thrilled to welcome her to Kilkenny for the first time with an eclectic programme that mixes Bach with fresh talent from Bryce Dessner to Lera Auerbach. For this special concert, Mari will be joined by her frequent music collaborator, pianist Julien Quentin.
