Ambient Orbit, live from Kilkenny Arts Festival 21.00 - 23.00, Thursday August 13th
Ambient Orbit are broadcasting live from Rothe House, a 16th century merchant's townhouse in the heart of Kilkenny City, as part of the Kilkenny Arts Festival. This building has seen a huge variety of Irish history and culture from medieval through to Cromwellian times, and then to a meeting place for the Kilkenny members of the Gaelic League. Ambient Orbit will present a mix of environmental field recordings, to which musicians from the Kilkenny Arts Festival programme will respond live, to create an immersive soundscape that represents the richness of the Festival itself
