Siobhan Armstrong is a ‘Renaissance Woman’ in every sense. One of Europe’s foremost historical harpists, Siobhan performs and records music from the 15th -18th centuries with some of Europe’s most prestigious ensembles as well as collaborating with some of Ireland’s foremost traditional musicians.She is also the founder of The Historical Harp Society of Ireland and is the director of the Festival of Early Irish Harp here in Kilkenny each summer.
Siobhan is currently completing her PhD on early Irish harp performance. Here she is sharing some spellbinding performances at the Heritage Council garden.
