Mezzo-soprano Sharon Carty is a singer with a busy and firmly established International career in opera as well as a reputation as an exquisite interpreter of both early and contemporary work. An alumna of the Opernstudio at Oper Frankfurt, she is currently an Associate Artists with Irish National Opera. Equally comfortable on the concert stage, Sharon performs regularly with ensembles such as the RTÉ NSO, Irish Baroque Orchestra, Nieuwe Philharmonie Utrecht and the Choir of King’s College Cambridge.
