Call Out for Movement, Music & Dance Workshop Participants!

John Scott's Migration Sonata

Kilkenny Arts Festival is inviting people who have migrated to Kilkenny to join us for a Movement, Music & Dance Workshop as we build towards a brand new piece for Kilkenny Arts Festival 2023!

These workshops take place on the following dates in John of God N.S.:

Tuesday 24th January @ 7pm
Tuesday 7th February @ 7pm
Tuesday 21st February @ 7pm

This adult only workshop (From 7pm-9pm, but you can come and leave at anytime) will involve some singing and movement, but absolutely no experience is necessary – just a willingness to try something a little different!

This project is all about bringing people from diverse communities together to explore our similarities and differences through movement and song, so we would love a representation from as many groups (or individuals) as we can.

If you or somebody you know would be interested in joining us, or would like to find out a little bit more, please contact us at info@kilkennyarts.ie

This workshop takes place as part of the development of a new piece commissioned for Kilkenny Arts Festival 2023, called The Migration Sonata, by John Scott.
