Bridie's Bar & General Store

Bridies is an old-world bar, pub and general store with a charming walled garden to the rear. It is very popular with locals, and serves the best pint of Guinness. Hidden in the middle of Kilkenny's Medieval City, it's charm and old world style make this small bar the perfect place to meet your friends or to maybe make some new ones. It is part of Langton’s Kilkenny and is named after one of the original founders of Langton’s, Bridie Langton. Bridie’s Bar & General Store is certainly not one to be missed.

The General Store is located at the front and has a beautiful old-world charm. The shop which is stocked with a mix of old quarter sweet jars, cards, gifts and pastries, is one of Kilkenny’s most photographed buildings.

Bridies Store offers high quality specialty coffee produced by skilled baristas together with a large selection of homemade pastries, sauces, oils and treats, prepared daily on-site.

Entered through saloon doors, to a quaint snug bar, filled with charm.

To the back there is a long-walled Garden. Dotted down the garden are bus shelters where you can sit and enjoy the outdoors with a beer in hand, maybe even in the sunshine! It is an escape from the hustle and bustle.
