Due to circumstances beyond our control, Danny O’Mahony will not be performing with Martin Hayes as planned tomorrow night in Cleere's Theatre.
We’re pleased to say that the Uilleann Piper David Power will now headline the concert alongside Martin Hayes.
No stranger to Kilkenny Arts Festival, internationally acclaimed piper David Power joins Martin Hayes for a very special performance in the especially intimate Cleere’s Theatre. Kilkenny audiences will know him from previous Festival collaborations such as appearing alongside Martin Hayes in the Festival Finale in St. Canice's Cathedral numerous times; with his Edge of Light project, and Kilkenny collaboration with Malcolm Proud to name just a few. Most recently he collaborated with poet Paula Meehan in the Parade Tower in 2022.
