Situated in the heart of Kilkenny city and growing from strength to strength since 1994.
We continually boast some of the best known branded shops and retail outlets in Ireland, including such names as Penneys & Dealz, Rituals, Peter Mark, Specsavers, Vero Moda to name but a few. Our spaces are also used as venues for arts events, including exhibitions and children's programming.
Parking
There is a parking garage directly across from the Market Cross shopping center located at 26 James Street. Please note, there is a height restriction of 2.2 meters.

There are three entrances to the Market Cross Shopping Centre. The first is from High Street and has rainbow umbrellas!
The second entrance is across from the parking garage on James Street.
There is a third entrance on Chapel Lane, but it can be difficult to access as the lane is very small.
After you are in the shopping centre, you will look for this shop front. Then, a volunteer will take your tickets and show you where to sit.
These shows may be exciting, but should not be too loud or scary. It would still be smart to bring ear defenders just in case things get too loud. The performers are happy for you to clap and wiggle as much as you want.
