Button accordionist Danny O’Mahony is renowned for his rich, emotive playing and deep appreciation for traditional music. A versatile artist committed to innovation, he recently collaborated with experimental theatre company Brokentalkers on their multimedia show Bellow, and performed with Crash Ensemble in Custom of the Coast, the opera by Kamala Sankaram and Paul Muldoon that premiered at KAF25. His live performances are celebrated for their passion and sincerity, and Cleere’s is the perfect venue for this duo concert with Festival stalwart Martin Hayes.
